What does your BIM coordination workflow look like end-to-end?

My workflow begins with authoring a BIM Execution Plan (BEP) — establishing naming conventions, LOD milestones, CDE protocols, and task team responsibilities per ISO 19650. I then set up the Common Data Environment (BIM 360 / ACC), onboard all discipline leads, and establish a weekly coordination cycle: model uploads → federated model build → Navisworks clash detection → issue tracking → resolution → sign-off. Python scripts automate clash reporting and compliance checks, reducing manual effort by up to 70%.

Do you work remotely or on-site, and are you available internationally?

Both. I'm based in Tunis, Tunisia, and have extensive experience working on projects across Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, UAE, and Europe. For international projects I operate fully remotely using cloud-based CDE platforms (BIM 360, ACC). For key milestones — project kickoff, design reviews, or client workshops — I'm available to travel. I work across CEST, AST, and GST time zones without issue.

What makes your pyRevit/Python automation different from standard BIM delivery?

Standard BIM delivery relies on manual model audits, manual sheet generation, and manual data exports — which is slow, error-prone, and expensive at scale. My automation layer uses the Revit API and pyRevit framework to run nightly quality checks, flag naming violations, generate compliance reports, produce quantity take-offs directly from the model, and auto-export IFC/COBie data. On a recent NEOM project, this reduced weekly QA/QC hours from 40 to under 12, while improving accuracy to near-zero error rate.

Can you take over or rescue an existing BIM project that's in trouble?

Yes — this is a specific specialty. I've taken over several mid-project BIM workflows that lacked governance, had unresolved clash backlogs, or needed an urgent ISO 19650 compliance retrofit. My first step is a rapid model audit using Solibri and custom scripts to quantify issues. I then produce a recovery roadmap with prioritized actions, re-establish CDE discipline, and stabilize the workflow. Projects have gone from hundreds of open clashes to zero within 6–8 weeks under this approach.
